I am on an intergalactic mission to take over the Earth...with creativity!

As an artist, programmer, designer, and general creator, the ability to share my work across the world is an amazing power and privilege. However, I also recognize the common pitfalls modern social media presents: Burn-out, constant engagement, a looming dread to please algorithmic overlords and reach non-tangential, yet pressing, deadlines... It can all be TOO much!

So instead, alongside my fellow neocitizens, I’ve decided to carve my own pocket within this grander net.world, and let it evolve as I do!

An organic representation of my artistic abilities, interests, and passion, this is perhaps an overly dramatic and overtly true way to say:

Let’s reclaim the internet!

For high spirits, it's good to start any project INSPIRED!

Neocities hosts a bounty of wonderful web worlds, and I scoured through numerous sites, absorbing all possible design opportunity.

The ones below I highlight specifically for their varying personal asethetics, themes and uses. The range in versatilty between each site is...DRAMATIC!

From there, development began!

I often do paper prototypes, freely sketching and revising ideas as they come.

And once I have a solid idea, I digitize it, blocking out the general shapes of each site as I go! Here I’ll also add additional inspiration photos to the side, just to remind me what the end aesthetic should be!

Implementation comes next. I used Visual Studio Code to test out different HTML + CSS formats, and simply followed my general block outs.

While this flow of work is not the prettiest, I find it the most efficient for making quick adjustments and spotting possible problem areas.

Now for the art!

A lengthy but satisfying endeavor, I create the individual pieces and begin implementing them step by step. This process allows me to see edits as I go, whether it be with sizing, color, or even general aesthetic meshing.
