For this game of the week, I finally believe I got a hold on scoping simple and fun mechanics, while still having time to do more completed artwork!
Specifically I wanted to focus on juice, adding in sound and visual cues to assist the player's understanding on how to win :D! Using time in p5.js has been
a surprising theme in my past couple games, but I find it usually is an easy way to "cheat" adding difficulty and stakes.
DEV LOG
4/7/2024 - Completed first prototype of game, which includes basic alien hand, four items + artwork, sounds for alien beam, human footsteps (warning), human catching you (lose state), and background music. There are three end states, based on getting caught or the amount of points from items. Basic movement of objects can be easily altered based on changing variables.
